Meursault, a jewel of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, is a name that instantly conjures images of golden-hued Chardonnay, rich with texture.

One of the most charming tales of Meursault dates back to the Middle Ages, when the monks of Cîteaux played a crucial role in shaping Burgundy’s vineyards. It’s said that these devout winemakers, known for their meticulous attention to terroir, recognized Meursault’s unique ability to produce wines of remarkable richness and aging potential. Beyond the wine itself, Meursault is also beloved for its storybook charm. The village, with its grand 18th-century town hall and signature Burgundian tiled roofs, feels like a step back in time.
