There’s a particular kind of stillness just before noon in the South of France - when the light is so bright it seems to shimmer, and the air is thick with the scent of citrus and sea. From a sun-warmed hillside near Saint-Tropez, vineyards tumble toward the glittering Mediterranean. The breeze, soft and salty, carries the freshness of crushed fruit and cool skin kissed by heat.
Evoking Côtes de Provence captures that moment - a fragrance full of light, freshness, and soft indulgence. Notes of pink grapefruit and crisp green apple lift from the surface first, sparkling and refreshing, like the first sip of a perfectly chilled rosé. Sea salt and pink pepper follow, adding a mineral brightness that recalls sun-slick skin and coastal winds. Beneath it all, white moss and sun-bleached woods settle gently, grounding the scent in warmth, salt, and sand.
Poured in a bespoke-engraved brass vessel, this is a scent for golden mornings, terrace afternoons, and late-summer dreams that don’t quite end.

About Côtes de Provence
The Côtes de Provence stretches across France’s Mediterranean coast - the heartland of pale pink rosé. The region’s coastal climate lends freshness and lift to its wines, while limestone soils and salty winds bring subtle minerality and elegance. According to legend, the first vines here were planted by ancient Greeks over 2,600 years ago. Later, the Knights Templar returned from the Crusades to cultivate vineyards for nobility - shaping the region’s winemaking legacy into something enduring, delicate, and deeply refreshing.

Care
• Never leave burning candles unattended
• As the vessel is made from metal (brass) it will get hot. Do not place onto anything flammable. Place candle onto a coaster when in use. Do no touch when lit. Allow to cool before touching. Keep away from children.

Every Ouverture London candle is hand-poured in small batches using natural, undyed waxes and high concentrations of fine fragrance - housed in our signature pure brass vessels. Because we embrace thoughtful, preservative-free materials and artisanal methods, you may notice subtle variations from piece to piece.
This might include gentle changes in wax colour, a softly uneven surface, or a natural patina forming on the brass over time. These are not flaws - they’re quiet signatures of craftsmanship. Each candle is unique by design, and none of these natural shifts affect the quality or beauty of the burn.
